Louise Vandelac

Louise Vandelac, Ph.D., full professor in the Department of sociology and in the Institute of Environmental Sciences at UQAM. Co-director of the first francophone web and open access academic journal in environmental sciences, VertigO, she is the founder and director of CREPPA, a research team on pesticides, policies, and alternatives funded by the Quebec research fund FQRSC. The interdisciplinary expertise of Dr. Vandelac on the socio-economic analysis of socio-technical transformations of the living (human, animal, and plant), focus on the limits of public scientific assessment and regulation, and their ecological and sanitary impacts aggravating the risk of ecocide and anthropocide.
