Announcement to all interested researchers in Geography and Environmental Studies, Sociology/Anthropology, and Indigenous and Canadian Studies:

The Government of Canada has launched its annual call for proposals for seven existing environmental funds that will provide more than $15M in funding to help Canada address climate change, conserve nature, and protect our fresh water.

Canadians across the country—from Indigenous organizations, landowners, environmental groups, nature trusts, educational institutions, provinces, community-based wildlife societies, and conservation organizations—are eligible to apply.
It is expected that approximately 600 projects across the country will receive grants and contributions in 2018-19 from Environment and Climate Change Canada.

Please visit https://www.canada.ca/en/environment-climate-change/services/environmental-funding/programs.html for all of Environment and Climate Change Canada’s funding programs (including the ones listed below).
