Last week, Aditi Singh graduated from our Master’s program in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). She was one of the graduates profiled at the university level.

Aditi is a testament to success through an open mind and positive outlook. Growing up in a small town in India, she never expected to come to Canada to pursue a Master’s degree. That was until she found the website of Dr. Audrey Girouard’s Creative Interactions Lab and saw herself in that research program. Aditi has a bachelor’s degree in architecture, which prepared her well for graduate studies in HCI. Her focus has been to design technology that works in the real world for real people. This has served her well throughout the inevitable ups and downs of graduate studies. To succeed, she also speaks to how much you can learn through interacting with your colleagues.

Aditi now plans to start her career in Ottawa as a user experience researcher.
