Duncan Watt was appointed Vice-President (Finance and Administration) in 1996. He joined the administration at Carleton in 1994 as Associate Vice-President (Finance and Administration) having served in that capacity at the University of Regina for nine years. His previous positions also include Director of Facility Planning for Saskatchewan Advanced Education and Manpower and Facility Engineer for the Department of National Defence in Calgary. He has also served as an officer in the Canadian Forces. Duncan Watt received a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from the Royal Military College of Canada and obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of Ottawa.
