Extended reality (XR) media offer new ways to tell stories that build on the audience’s local environment and embodied sense of place. In this workshop, we will build XR experiences using the StoryTrek platform, which allows users to easily blend digital media with real-world locations to create immersive and interactive sites of experiential learning. You will learn to design and build multimedia, site-specific stories, games and exhibits for mobile devices, with a focus on spatial and environmental storytelling.
