We’re thrilled to be working with Prof. Adam Barrows from the English Department on the Walking Shadows Interactive Theatre project, with support from a 2026 Carleton University Experiential Learning Equipment Fund. Using the Hyperlab’s Vicon Nexus motion capture system, students enrolled in ENGL 3905, a Drama class that focuses on topics in the study and practice of performance, will learn to create customized virtual avatars that respond to their full-body movements in real time for dramatic scenarios.
