Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD). Prices do not include taxes (HST). HST is 13%.
As of April 1, 2019, the approximate value of 1 USD is 1.34 CAD; 1 Euro = ~1.52 CAD (e.g., $350 early bird rate = ~$263 early bird rate in US dollars or ~$235 Euros; $225 early bird rate = ~$170 US dollars or ~$150 Euros). These are approximate rates; rates are subject to change. Please consult current currency conversion rates.
Member registration fees are only available to current 2019 IARR members. If you wish to become a member of the IARR, please see the IARR website.
*Students/PostDocs (members) who register for the conference and the New Scholar Workshop pre-conference will receive a $25 discount.
For members from underrepresented countries, please contact the conference organizers at iarr2019@carleton.ca for details about discounted registration rates.
Conference registration fee includes:
- Access to all sessions (i.e., Thurs. evening, Friday, and Saturday)
- Conference materials
- Welcome reception on Thurs. June 20thin the evening (with food stations and refreshments)
- 2 lunches
- Coffee/tea/snacks in morning and afternoon
- Reception on Saturday evening on campus (with food/refreshments, karaoke, and dancing).
- Access to all poster sessions
*There will be options to invite guests to the receptions in the registration portal (for an additional fee).
New Scholar Workshop Pre-conference:
- The pre-conference takes place Thursday, June 20th, 2019 ~8:30 am-4:30 pm and has an additional fee.
- The cost of the pre-conference workshop is $75 and includes breakfast, lunch, and refreshments [there is a $25 discount for students/postdocs (members) that register for both the conference and the pre-conference].
- We have a stellar line-up of panel members for the New Scholar Workshop including Sara Algoe, Bill Chopik, Emily Impett, Samantha Joel, Amy Muise, Francesca Righetti, John Sakaluk, Geoff MacDonald, and Jessica Maxwell.
- The workshop is designed for graduate students, postdocs, and early career researchers. Check out the New Scholar Workshop tab on the conference website for more information.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Transfer of a registration to another person is permitted by contacting iarr2019@carleton.ca Registration cancellations received in writing by contacting iarr2019@carleton.ca by Wednesday, June 8, 2019 will be accepted and incur a cancellation fee of $50.00 CAD. Cancellations received after Wednesday, June 8, 2019 will not be refunded. No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the new-scholar workshop and/or mini-conference.
In the unlikely event that the mini-conference is cancelled, travel and accommodation costs will not be refunded.
