Olivia Robin
Research Intern
Olivia is Ottawa born and bred. She completed her first year at Carleton in the Bachelor of Health Sciences program, with a concentration in Disability and Chronic Illness and expects to graduate in 2020. Her research focuses on innate immune memory. Specifically, she is examining the effects of the nutritional environment on macrophage cells and their tendency to develop either trained or tolerant phenotypes. In her spare time, Olivia volunteers at The Ottawa Hospital and is a lifeguard and swimming instructor.
