On June 10, Mr. Sudhir Handa and Mrs. Ruth Harper received Carleton’s Leadership in Philanthropy Award at the 2012 Summer Social. Every year, the social is attended by Carleton donors and volunteers. This year’s event took place in the River Building Atrium.
The Carleton University Leadership in Philanthropy Award is presented annually to an association, corporation, foundation, family or individual who, through financial support and outstanding leadership, has had a significant impact on the success of the university and has advanced the quality of life at Carleton University through his/her commitment.”
