Mitacs GraphicMitacs has partnered with the Government of India’s Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) to support student mobility between Canadian universities and Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT).

The Mitacs Globalink Research Award – MHRD India is an exciting new competitive initiative that provides the opportunity for faculty members and graduate students at Canadian universities to build an international research network and undertake research abroad at seven IITs in India including:

  • IIT Bombay
  • IIT Guwahati
  • IIT Hyderbad
  • IIT Kanpur
  • IIT Kharagpur
  • IIT Gandhinagar
  • IIT Roorkee

The call for applications will open on March 19, 2015, and will close on May 13, 2015, at 5 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). This is a competitive call and a limited number of awards are available. Successful applicants can begin their research projects as early as July 2015 and as late as December 31, 2015.
