IC-IMPACTSThe Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science & Technology. Government of India, New Delhi and India-Canada Centre for Innovative Multidisciplinary Partnership to Accelerate Community Transformation and Sustainability (IC-IMPACTS) conduct the India-Canada Cooperative Science Programme to promote bilateral scientific collaboration between Indian and Canadian scientists.

Joint applications are invited from eligible Indian and Canadian researchers /scientists to submit proposals for joint projects.

The joint call for proposals will support collaborative research projects in the following scientific areas:

  • Structural performance of buildings including earthquake resistance
  • Innovative buildings materials with low carbon footprint
  • Thermal, acoustical and lighting comfort in buildings
  • Buildings and human health
  • Buildings and energy conservation
  • Buildings and water conservation
  • Building Infrastructures and Internet of Things (IoT)

Funding Available

  • Maximum amount: Travel support, accommodation, per diems and domestic travel within India (including airport transfers).
  • Project duration: 1-2 years
