The Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science & Technology. Government of India, New Delhi and India-Canada Centre for Innovative Multidisciplinary Partnership to Accelerate Community Transformation and Sustainability (IC-IMPACTS) conduct the India-Canada Cooperative Science Programme to promote bilateral scientific collaboration between Indian and Canadian scientists.
Joint applications are invited from eligible Indian and Canadian researchers /scientists to submit proposals for joint projects.
The joint call for proposals will support collaborative research projects in the following scientific areas:
- Structural performance of buildings including earthquake resistance
- Innovative buildings materials with low carbon footprint
- Thermal, acoustical and lighting comfort in buildings
- Buildings and human health
- Buildings and energy conservation
- Buildings and water conservation
- Building Infrastructures and Internet of Things (IoT)
Funding Available
- Maximum amount: Travel support, accommodation, per diems and domestic travel within India (including airport transfers).
- Project duration: 1-2 years
