India Study Tour

Carleton University’s Canada-India Centre for Excellence, in partnership with Carleton International, is pleased to offer Carleton students a 2-week study program to India. Students will visit Mumbai, India’s financial and cultural hub, and New Delhi, India’s capital city. The program will offer students a glimpse of cultural and business practices of one of the world’s oldest civilizations and fastest growing large economies.

Program Components

A Taste of India’s History and Culture
An introduction to India, its people, cultures, traditions, cuisines and art.

Overview of the Indian Business Environment
Learn the basics of the Indian economy, sectors, businesses and opportunities via classroom sessions, site visits, and networking opportunities with Indian businesses.

1:15PM-7:00PM: Heritage walk: Gateway of India; CSVMS Museum; Flora Fountain;
National Gallery of Modern Art, walk down Kala Ghoda to see the heritage buildings,
sunset at Marine Drive

Day 5 – Gateway of India

Day 6-Being a Local

visit Mount Mary Church

Day 13: Check-out

Program Fee

Program Fee $2,500, includes: airfare, accommodations, local transportation, meals, entrance fees and guided tours
