Jas Kalra

Jas has been working as a facilitator and an executive coach in Canada and India since 2001. She draws her experience from interviewing executives and senior managers for multinational and government organizations, and facilitating organizational and human development topics for various clients in Canada and India. A special focus of Jas’ practice is to enhance intercultural competencies of Canadian military, Business leaders, NGO’s,  nonprofits, corporate sectors and youth/ graduate (Canadian citizens) selected for Internships (in developing world),  who are working in service of a more sustainable, just and peaceful world. She supports these individuals and teams in cultivating their individual and collective ability to appreciate diversity and sustain themselves in their work. She has been coaching clients from United Nations, Oxfam and Statistics Canada to effectively meet stressful situations and communication challenges at work.

Jas is Certified in Adult Education by St.FX University and trained by New Ventures West (leaders in training coaches), in California, she a Masters degree in Biology from India and studied Behaviourial Psychology, certification in Third Party Neutral from Canadian Institute of Conflict Resolution at St. Paul’s University of Ottawa. Jas is a certified facilitator from Center for Intercultural Learning of Global Affairs Canada and facilitates their Pre-departure and debriefing Intercultural Effectiveness programs regularly.
