Dr. Jaswinder Singh is presently the Principal of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, University of Delhi. He has done his post-doctoral in Impact of Irrigation on Some Aspects of Agricultural Development: A Case Study of Nagarjunasagar Command Area, Andhra Pradesh.
Managerial Economics Dreamtech Press, Sikhs and New Delhi: (ed) 2010, Guru, Granth and Panth: situating Sikh Movement in South Asian context: (concept note), are some of the books that have been authored by Dr. Singh. He has also written various articles.
He has various accolades to his credit, which includes the numerous papers that he presented namely Higher Education in India: Current Scenario, 2008, Deakin University Melbourne, Australia; Coordinated PPP Governance Model essential for Development of Professional Sport in India –Comparative Case Study (co-authored) Sports Council Conference, University of Delhi, 2010; Mixed Farming: Challenges in view of Declining water resources and Stagnating farm yield and productivity at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology.
Major research projects that Dr. Jaswinder Singh is involved in includes being the Co-Principal Investigator for e-PG Pathshala Project awarded by the UGC to develop e-content for sixteen papers for Post-Graduation in Economics, Business Economics, Commerce and Psychology 2014 under National Mission on Education through Information Communication Technology (NMEICT). He is also the Co-Principal Investigator for Teaching and Learning Centre to train teachers in the development of digital content using ICT in three subjects Chemistry, Economics and Commerce 2016 under the Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya National Mission on Teachers and Training (PMMMNMTT) awarded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. He has delivered numerous lectures at various colleges.
Dr. Jaswinder Singh proudly holds the membership of various Professional Bodies such as Executive Council, University of Delhi, 2015-2017; Academic Council, University of Delhi, 1994-98, 2014-16; Secretary India International Intellectual Society, Delhi; Secretary All India Foundation for Peace and Development. He is also the member of UGC committee to review the autonomous status of College, 2009, 2014; Convenor of the UGC Committee to draft Under Graduate Courses for the Implementation of Choice Based Credit System, 2015; Member of Deen Dayal Upadhaya Kaushall Kendras allotment Committee, 2015; Member NAAC team 2015 to do the NAAC assessment for two colleges.
