Theresa Hendricks

Theresa Hendricks is a financial administrator with Carleton’s Research Financial Services. She is a Métis woman from the Red River Settlement (Manitoba). Prior to joining Carleton, Hendricks worked at the Métis Nation of Ontario.

She looks forward to working with the committee: “I think this is an amazing opportunity and am honored to be part of it,” says Hendricks.

Hendricks is married with two children. Before moving to Ottawa, her family lived in Nunavut for several years.

Active in the community, the Hendricks family have volunteered at the National Arts Centre. They have been in two productions – the first all-Indigenous production of King Lear and the production Louis Riel.

“Celebrating and preserving our culture is very important to our family,” says Hendricks.
