As Research Fellow, Noah H. Taj is currently investigating the famous correspondence which took place between the intellectual giants Ṣadr al-Dīn al-Qūnawī (d. 1273-4) and Naṣīr al-Dīn al-Ṭūsī (d. 1274).
CCSI Assistant Team
Noah H. Taj is currently a Ph.D. Student at Carleton University’s Institute for Comparative Studies in Literature, Art and Culture. His doctoral research aims to put the hermeneutical and literary theories of Hans-Georg Gadamer into conversation with Ṣadr al-Dīn al-Qūnawī and the larger Islamic philosophical tradition. Noah has published articles in major peer-reviewed venues, and he is currently a CCSI Research Fellow in Islamic Thought.
