Valerie Keyes
Valerie Keyes is a retired public servant and former Canadian Forces officer who has held various policy, security, and intelligence roles within the Canadian Government. She also served as an advisor to the British Army. At National Defence Headquarters, Valerie was the senior analyst responsible for humanitarian assistance operations policy, including overseeing the first two deployments of the Disaster Assistance Response Team and Operation Parasol, which brought 5,000 Kosovar refugees to Canada in 1999. Since retiring from public service, she has become the President and Chief Executive Officer of GTM Leadership Matters, a consulting firm specializing in the training and education of security and intelligence officers.
