Mustafa Erguvan is a post-doctoral research fellow in the department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alabama. He has received his master and PhD from the University of Alabama in 2018 and 2022, respectively.
His current research focuses on Direct Air Capture and Decarbonization of Industry. During his PhD work, he conducted several research including energetically self-sufficient wastewater treatment plant development with near zero emission as well as thermal energy storage systems modelling. Mustafa published 7 peer-reviewed journal papers and presented in several conference proceedings. He has a wide experience on simulation tools involving Computational Fluid Dynamics (FLUENT and COMSOL) and Process Engineering (Aspen Plus and EES).
Mustafa grew up in Turkey, and graduated from Selcuk University in Turkey, with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering in 2012.
