Ethan used metabolomic approaches to investigate cyanopeptide diversity from blooms collected from Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec, and developed methods to measure microcystins in lake sediment cores. After graduation, Ethan joined the Canadian Food Inspection Agency as a toxicologist in Ottawa.
