Amirhossein received his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Guilan in 2015, with a focus on dynamical systems and control. He earned his MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution in 2018, where his research focused on wind turbine control using artificial intelligence techniques. He began his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2019, concentrating on reinforcement learning, including hierarchical reinforcement learning, multi-objective reinforcement learning, and multi-agent reinforcement learning, with applications to game theory and robotics. He completed his PhD in 2023. Following his doctoral studies, he joined the Ericsson–Carleton Mobile Wireless Lab as a postdoctoral fellow, where from 2023 to 2025 he worked on machine learning applications for path planning, mapping, and navigation. In 2026, he joined the Advanced Biomechatronic & Locomotion Lab as a postdoctoral fellow. His research interests include machine learning for robotics, edge AI, and machine vision.
