Dat is an M.A.Sc. student in Mechanical Engineering at Carleton University under the supervision of Dr. Mojtaba Ahmadi. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Automation and Robotics from Algonquin College and previously attended the Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted in Vietnam, where he developed a deep foundation in mathematics. His current research interests focus on mechatronics and control systems, specifically looking into the development and optimization of assistive exoskeleton technologies.
