Santina is driven by her desire to help others and create memorable experiences. During her time at McMaster University, she participated in a summer exchange program in Brescia, Italy, sharing Canadian cultural customs and teaching strategies with her Italian colleagues, resulting in a community impact that she found remarkable.
Upon return, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science of Language, while simultaneously fueling her passion for organizing events in the university’s Conference and Event Services unit.
After graduation, she moved to Ottawa to plan national fundraising events for the Federal Liberal Party of Canada. Conducting events across the country provided her with the opportunity to make meaningful connections with fellow Canadians on real-world issues, including topics of personal interest, such as ethnic discrimination and equal accessibility. Continuing her advocacy, she’s currently with the Paralympic Foundation of Canada.
Santina is excited to pursue an MPNL degree to further broaden her skill set, connect with like-minded leaders and become an impactful contributor to growth and change in the workplace.
Outside of the office and classroom, she enjoys travelling, indoor cycling and dog sitting.
