Dr. Giray Sadık, Associate Professor in the Department of International Relations at Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Ankara, has just completed the first Visiting MTS Fellowship at the Centre. He delivered a course on Modern Turkey in July-August, 2017. A total of 15 NPSIA graduate and fourth-year Political Science students took this credit course, which covered security, military and current foreign policy aspects of the Turkish Republic. Dr. Sadık is the editor of a new book: Europe’s Hybrid Threats: What Kinds of Power Does the EU Need in the 21st Century. The book contains seven essays by specialists examining the transitional threats posed by the combination of state and non-state actors to EU members and NATO Allies. The book is published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing.
