Ramin Imam

Research Assistant

I am an International Baccalaureate (IB) high school junior aiming for a biomaterial and biomedical engineering career. I am currently working on finite element modeling in Dr. Moo’s lab as a summer researcher. As an independent researcher, I participated in the final round of Ottawa Science Innovation Challenge (OSIC–2025) with a research proposal for optimizing drug delivery methods for a synthetic compound that inhibits mycobacterium tuberculosis pathogenesis. Aside from academics and research, I regularly pursue swimming as a competitive sport and dedicate my free time to coaching swimming as a certified aquatics instructor and lifeguard.
