Christine completed her master’s in psychology at Carleton University. Her thesis looked at the frequency and reasons for school absence in children with ADHD and its potential association with school-based parental involvement. Christine is specifically interested in improving academic outcomes for youth with mental health disorders. She has an additional interest in eating disorders and body image research. Previously, Christine had done work on whether integrating nature cues into instructional materials promotes academic engagement. A fun fact about her is that since she grew up in Ireland, she can speak Irish!
