Joel graduated from Carleton university in the Honours Psychology bachelors’ program. Within his degree, he concentrated in Health Psychology alongside completing the stream of mental health and well-being. Joel’s research interests include protective factors against worsening ADHD symptoms as well as the addictive properties of self-harm behaviours. Within the lab, Joel completed his thesis on sex differences in ADHD symptoms and how they may have changed throughout the course of the pandemic. A neat fact about Joel is that he plays the trumpet!
