- I’m a student/student group looking for sponsorship for my (project/event/activity), who do I contact?

Students/student groups looking to secure sponsorship are asked to first draft a proposal which includes vital information such as the scope of the sponsorship (dollar value and timeline) and more. To learn more about what’s required of you to receive sponsorship approval, please visit the student section of this website.
Important: University Advancement must approve all lists of sponsorship prospects and proposals for in-kind and cash sponsorships, no matter the value that you seek.
- For student groups who are part of CUSA Clubs, please consult with the CUSA Student Group Administrator about your proposed plans to seek sponsorship funds. Visit the CUSA Clubs website for more information.
- For student groups that are affiliated with the Sprott School of Business, please first consult with the Sprott faculty or staff member overseeing your activity about your proposed plans to seek sponsorship.
- What is my role as a student group?

Student groups that are seeking corporate sponsorship must validate that the planned activity or project aligns with the potential sponsor’s goals. Student groups are also responsible for ensuring that the benefits promised to corporate sponsors are fulfilled in a timely manner. This may include social media posts recognizing sponsors or printed materials that will be handed out to attendees at an event with sponsor logos prominently displayed.
