IMPORTANT NOTICE: COVID-19 UPDATE

— Monday, March 30: Due to the current COVID-19 health crisis continues to evolve, Carleton University Testing Centre (CUTC) will remain closed until further notice.

Carleton University, after broad consultation, has determined to postpone or cancel all Carleton in-person events until June 30, 2020. As a result of this decision, CUTC is cancelling all scheduled exams until June 30, 2020.   The safety and well-being of all of our constituents is our highest priority.

We remain hopeful that we may be able to open in July 2020. We will, however, have to take into considerations the guidelines and regulations from the health authorities in all levels of the government, municipal, provincial and federal.

CUTC will automatically provide a credit on your account to be used at a later date, or if you wish to receive a full refund and not a credit on your account, we will process the refund online if the original transaction was made through our online payment.

— Thursday, March 19: In an effort to minimize community spread of COVID-19, the following adjustments have been made related to the Carleton University Testing Centre (CUTC). The Testing Centre is closed effective immediately and will continue until further notice.

  • CUTC staff will contact all those affected to answer questions and reschedule or cancel test appointments. A full refund will be given to those affected.

We will continue to monitor conditions around the COVID-19 pandemic and make further adjustments as necessary. Any questions should be forwarded to testingcentre@carleton.ca

Thank you for your support during this critical time. Stay Safe.

March 16: Although the Carleton University Testing Centre is currently still operational, the status of the university is changing daily. We may be compelled to cease operations at any time with little to no notice. We strongly urge all clients with existing bookings to contact their Home Institution to discuss the situation. It is suggested that a postponement of the exam sitting, or an alternative assessment method may be explored. Under these circumstances, you will receive a full refund if you wish to cancel your exam bookings. Of course, we will fully refund any bookings the Centre must cancel due to university closure.

March 14: The Carleton University Testing Centre (CUTC) remains open and honouring all existing bookings while the University remains open. Check this site regularly for updates. For now, no new bookings are being accepted until further notice. Clients coming to the Testing Centre are reminded to use risk avoidance precautions such as washing hands with soap or using alcohol-based hand sanitizer before entering the Centre, avoiding unnecessary contact with others and not to come in if you are feeling ill, have a cough or fever.

The Centre has instituted enhanced procedures including sanitizing exam stations after each use and employing extra social distance seating between clients.
