Alexia is currently working on her undergraduate degree in psychology with a concentration in development and a minor in disability studies at Carleton University. Her work focuses on the intersections of disability and childhood, and looks to breakdown social constructs of normality in regards to development.
As a research assistant with the TDKRA project, Alexia recognizes the need for voices of the Global South to be included further in research and acknowledged by professionals in varying interdisciplinary fields.
