Huyen works as Country Representative for Abilis Foundation, a development fund from Finland that aims at empowerment and contributes toward equal life and opportunities for persons with disabilities, in Vietnam. She has also devoted her time as a Steering Committee Member for Hanoi Association of persons with disabilities (DP Hanoi) and is Chairwoman of Bac Tu Liem DPO, under DP Hanoi.
Huyen has more than 15 years of experience working on issues related to disability rights and community development projects. She is a both trainer and facilitator for disability equality training. Her interests lie in fields of sustainable development of non-profit organizations, civil society, and human rights.
