Dean Corno

Mr. Dean Corno represented both Transport Canada and Finance Canada at international trade and investment negotiations, where he provided advice on trade and investment policy as well as international trade agreements to Canadian federal Ministers, senior officials of the Canadian federal and foreign governments, industry stakeholders, and sub-national governments.  In particular, he led cross-border trade and investment negotiations of the transport services sector provisions in the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement, the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Trade Agreement. He also led discussions at the World Trade Organization on issues related to transport services and financial services sectors.  He worked closely with domestic regulators, industry stakeholders including organized labour, trade partners and international stakeholders to advance Canada’s domestic regulatory and international trade objectives in the transport and financial services sectors.  He holds degrees from the University of Victoria and has taken competition law studies at the University of Ottawa.
