The VSIM Engineering team includes a number of researchers organized into three laboratories: the Applied Dynamics Lab, the Advanced Real-Time Simulation Lab, and the Reality in the Loop Lab. The associated researchers conduct basic and applied research relating to simulation infrastructure, mathematical modelling and simulation methodologies, and engineering applications.
As part of VSIM’s interdisciplinary core, the Engineering Team contributes to interdisciplinary projects by providing innovative simulation infrastructure and physics-based modelling capabilities to interdisciplinary projects.
Members of the engineering team have partnered with industry and government as well as with other research organizations to conduct projects aimed at advancing simulation technology, both in terms of methodology and applications, in the areas in which VSIM excels.
