Carleton University Safer Spaces Program

The Carleton University Safer Spaces Program (CUSSP) is an important University-wide initiative to reduce the impact of homophobia, transphobia, and heterosexism on campus, with the ultimate goal of creating a safer campus environment for LGBTQ2S+ members of the University.

This interactive workshop explores the complexity and diversity of LGBTQ2S+ identities and experiences and is designed to enhance participants’ awareness and skills in providing support to members of this community. Through creating a resource network and identifying LGBTQ2S+ positive people and spaces, we can work proactively to better the lives of all members of the university.
