Kevin is a Professor in the Department of Psychology and Director of the Aggressive Cognitions and Behaviour Research (ACBR) Laboratory at Carleton University. He received his BA Honours in Psychology from Concordia University and PhD in Psychology from the University of Ottawa.
Research Interests: The main focus of his research is on the conceptualization and measurement of cognitions—such as attitudes—thought to be relevant to violent behaviour, and the role these cognitions may play in violent behaviour. His main goal is to contribute to scientific knowledge about the causes of violence, which provides the foundation for effective and efficient assessment and intervention aimed at reducing violence.
