American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics
The Carleton University branch of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) is a place for students to learn more about aerospace engineering and science and to engage their design skills in various competitions and events.

American Helicopter Society
Carleton University formed the first American Helicopter Society (AHS) student chapter in Canada in 2012. AHS is the only international technical society for engineers, scientists focusing on the development of vertical flight technology. The society consists of over two dozen active chapters and twenty one different technical committees worldwide.

Carleton Mechanical and Aerospace Society
The Carleton University Mechanical Aerospace Engineering Society (CMAS) is an academic focused student operated group; located in 3346 Mackenzie building. CMAS is a student lounge where members ranging from first to last year students create an atmosphere focused on peer academic support, community events and a place to relax between classes. CMAS offers complimentary: coffee, tea, fridge space, stationary desktops, textbooks, bag space, and an assortment of tools to its members. Available from 0830 to 1700 hours Monday to Friday fall and winter semesters. CMAS holds a variety of community events; the most known being industry night which is a night the early winter semester for both students and industry representatives to mingle and establish contacts.
