A PhD or Postdoc position in physics-informed deep learning for wind power forecasting is open in the APEX lab at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The ideal candidate will have experience in one, or more, of the following areas:

  1. Deep learning, auto-encoders, anomaly detection
  2. Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) modeling, Computational fluid dynamics
  3. Wind power forecasting methods
  4. Big data analytics, algorithm parallelization, database development
