Pascal Dubuc

Team Leader, Carleton University/Algonquin College Attendant Services

Pascal has worked in a variety of settings in the Support Services field since 1998, including travelling with and supporting para athletes in different capacities. Encouraged by the positive attitudes of staff and clients as well as the unique culture of the Attendant Services program, Pascal joined the team in 2008 and was promoted to Team Leader in 2011.

Debb and Pascal work continuously to make sure the program is running efficiently and safely for all involved. Some of their duties include completing and monitoring the client service plans, training, scheduling and supervising more than sixty staff, and scheduling all services. Clients are encouraged to stop by at any time to provide feedback or address service issues. In working to ensure the program is operating at peak efficiency 24 hours per day at two locations, they may be tempted to quote Carleton University’s official motto when describing their own work – “Ours the Task Eternal”.
