Introduction and Research Interests

My research focuses on atmospheric and air quality modeling, with an emphasis on quantifying the climate, air quality, and health impacts of emissions at regional and local scales. I work extensively with emission modeling tools and chemical transport models (e.g., CMAQ, WRF-CMAQ), as well as related pre- and post-processing and sensitivity analysis tools (e.g., the CMAQ adjoint), to evaluate emission reductions across different sectors. A key part of my work involves co-benefit analysis, linking air quality improvements with climate mitigation strategies to support evidence-based policy and decision-making. I am particularly interested in developing and applying location-specific methodologies that translate complex model outputs into policy-relevant insights.
