We are pleased to announce the return of the CanCH4 Symposium, a national cross-sectoral gathering of experts from academia, government, and the private sector to share latest methane research, technological development, measurement data, and analytics with the goal of advancing science, policy, and action to reduce methane emissions.
With support from Natural Resources Canada and Environment & Climate Change Canada, this annual event is a part of coordinated national effort to streamline methane research activities in Canada, share new information across jurisdictions and sectors, encourage collaborations on measurement studies, analytics, and technology innovation; facilitate open discussions on current data and implications, and accelerate the emissions reduction pathways
The 2025 CanCH4 Symposium will be held at Carleton University in Ottawa on May 7 – 8, 2025. The event will feature leading experts, policy makers and analysts, technology providers, industry stakeholders, and academic researchers within the methane space. The technical program will be developed by a dedicated scientific committee based on an open call for presentations, technical posters, and panel discussions.
