The 2024 CanCH4 Symposium – Methane by the Numbers is a technical meeting to share research and measurement data on methane emissions in support of Faster & Further, Canada’s National Methane Strategy.
With support from the Government of Canada’s Methane Center of Excellence, the CanCH4 symposium will bring together leading research programs from universities, government labs, and the private sector to share measurement data analysis that will advance policy development and emission reduction strategies. The objective is to focus on sharing new information across sectors to accelerate the emissions reductions.
The symposium will feature the main program on Monday – Tuesday (May 13-14), symposium dinner on Tuesday evening, and a special event on Wednesday (May 15): EU-Canada Dialogue on Methane as part of the European Union Climate Dialogues (EUCDs) project.
