Banu Örmeci, professor and Canada Research Chair in Wastewater and Public Health Engineering, has been awarded the first Jarislowsky Chair in Water and Global Health to be held at Carleton University. Ormeci is a founding member of the CHAIM Centre. Her priority is to research and develop technologies that enable the provision of safe drinking water to communities across Canada and the world.
