Biography

Jerry Tomberlin is the Interim President and Vice-Chancellor at Carleton University and a professor of supply chain management at the Sprott School of Business. As interim president, Tomberlin brings a wealth of institutional knowledge and academic leadership experience to the role, having served as Carleton’s Provost and Vice-President (Academic) for over six years and enjoying a nearly decade-long tenure as the Dean of Sprott.

Tomberlin is a former member of the AACSB International Board of Directors, remaining active as a member of the Business Accreditation Policy Committee, and previously acted as chair of the board of the Canadian Federation of Business School Deans. He provided consulting services to a number of major corporations and organizations throughout his career, including Clairol Canada, NASA, General Motors, Royal Bank of Canada, US Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, Massachusetts Attorney General‘s Office, Statistics Canada, Bureau de la statistique du Québec, and Transports Québec.
