Dylan Odd is a seasoned policy advisor and Director of Parliamentary Affairs at the Senate of Canada, where he supports two senators in advancing their legislative priorities. With extensive experience in legislative processes, Dylan has played a key role in the analysis, review, and amendment of various national security legislation. He has also supported members of the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee, the Senate Standing Committee on National Security and Defence, and the Senate Standing Committee on Transport and Communications.

Throughout his career, Dylan has been dedicated to providing strategic, legislative, and operational advice, ensuring that complex issues are effectively managed and communicated to senior public, private, and political stakeholders. His work includes managing important files, supporting committee chairs, overseeing leadership offices, and representing senators in various forums.

In addition to his parliamentary work, Dylan has experience in the public service, having worked at Natural Resources Canada with a focus on climate change adaptation, mitigation, and resilience. He also has a background in front-line wildfire management.

Dylan holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Policy from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Carleton University. He is a founding board member of the Atlantic Healthy Oceans Initiative, reflecting his ongoing commitment to environmental and social causes.
