Special Edition:Pulse Check: Exploring Threats to Critical Infrastructure

In a world increasingly reliant on complex systems, the stability and security of critical infrastructure (CI) have never been more vital. Our infrastructure—from energy grids and transportation networks to water supplies and communication systems—faces an array of threats, including cyberattacks, terrorism, natural disasters, and the escalating impacts of climate change. Understanding and addressing these risks is essential to safeguarding the foundation of modern society.

This edition will provide an in-depth exploration of the many pressing threats and hazards facing critical infrastructure today, with a special focus on the pioneering work of NC-CIPSeR’s Project CANVAS in building and maintaining a threat/hazard library.
