- How can I view analytics for my website?

Every CCMS website is already enabled with Google Analytics. To access analytics for your website, you will need to submit a request to the service desk with your Gmail address and the site you want to access Google Analytics for.

- How do I add someone new as an editor to my site?

To add a new editor to your website, you will need to submit the following form: Website Access Request. Web Services will then enable access for the specified person.
- How do I make my draft homepage the actual homepage?

If you have created a draft homepage instead of editing the active homepage, you will need to contact Web Services to make the draft homepage into the active homepage.
- Why can’t I preview changes to my homepage?

You cannot preview unpublished changes to your homepage on CMS. To be able to see changes that you have made to your homepage, you need to publish those changes.
- How do I upload banners on a homepage?

Please note that to upload custom banners, some sites may need to have this feature enabled by Web Services. Contact Web Services to request this feature.

- I’m having issues logging into my CMS website

If you are having problems logging in, try the following:
- Retype your password.
- Check to be sure you are using the correct username. WordPress uses your MyCarletonOne username (not including @carleton.ca)
- Do not include an underscore or dot in your name. (Eg: marykathrynroberts)
- Ensure that caps lock is not on. Usernames and passwords are case sensitive.
- For faculty and staff, multi-factor authentication is required, using Duo. For more information on how to set up and operate Duo, see Carleton’s Duo website.
If all else fails, contact Web Services for assistance.
