Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA) are meant to stimulate interest in research in the natural sciences and engineering. This year’s NSERC Summer Internship was awarded to two students in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
A special Congratulations to Kenda Parsons. Kenda is a student in the Department of Cognitive Science and is one of two students awarded.
Kenda will be working in Dr. Kamawar’s lab, developing a study on preschoolers’ ability to think about the future and their saving behaviours. The title of the project is “Future-Oriented Cognition: Saving and Other Related Skills.”
