John Grundy

My research program is focused on bilingual experiences that affect cognitive processes and the brain across the lifespan. I use neuroimaging methods and behavior to answer questions about efficiency of networks that are trained by bilingual experiences. My work provides theoretical and methodological contributions by demonstrating how bilingual experiences lead to reorganization of both structural and functional changes in the brain that help protect against cognitive decline in older age.
