Katherine Newman

Prior degrees: Specialized Honours B.A. in Cognitive Science (York University)

I am a first year student in the M.Cog.Sc. program. I am currently working in the Math Lab under the supervision of Jo-Anne LeFevre. My research examines the relationships between math cognition, spatial skills, and pattern recognition.

Additional research interests include: Music cognition, rhythm perception, emergence, allocentric mapping, cognitive development throughout the lifespan, and multimodal interaction.
