Kathleen Van Benthem

Research interest:  I study aging and cognitive performance in complex tasks, such as piloting aircraft.  I investigate the use of biometrics, including EEG and heart rate, to predict human performance and mental workload.  My interests are in virtual reality & flight simulation, augmented reality & situation awareness, and the integration of neuroscience research methods in the domain of cognitive science.
