The Computing Account Request form has moved. Please log into ITS’ internal website to access the form using you MyCarleton One username and password.

There are several computing account types, the below helps explain the differences and will assist when filling out the Computing Account Request form.  Shared or generic user account names are not permitted, each account must be unique and consist of the users name.

Staff/Faculty

  • Full time/Part time Staff
  • Faculty/Contract Instructors
  • Visiting Faculty or Scholar – additional information required

Student-Staff

  • A Carleton Student who has been hired on as a staff member.  It is important that we know so the Student does not lose access to course resources.

Vendor

When a non-Carleton employee requires a computer account to perform the work they were hired for.  If the account is needed for less than a month the affiliate ID is not required and a zero can be entered for the Banner ID, however remote access and a Carleton email account can not be created.

 

Affiliate ID

Carleton Affiliate accounts are required for anyone who is NOT a current student, current or former employee or an alumni who require access to Carleton’s online systems and/or require physical access to buildings on campus. Affiliate accounts are temporary and created with a predetermined expiry date, to request an affiliate ID and Account submit this form.

 

Visiting Scholars

The visiting scholar’s sponsoring department will request an affiliate ID which can be used to complete the Computing Account Request form.
