NSERC Discovery Grant Workshop
The faculty of Engineering and Design, the faculty of Science, along with CORIS will be hosting a Discovery Grant Workshop which will include:
- A brief overview of the evaluation process
- The components of the application with recommendations on how to prepare a winning application
- Q&A with a panel of past and present NSERC Evaluation Committee members.

SSHRC Insight Grant Workshop
Faculty members are invited to work on, share and receive strategic feedback to improve key, but often overlooked, sections necessary for a competitive and compelling SSHRC Insight Grant. Specifically, this workshop will address how to use these sections to effectively meet the three evaluation criteria of Challenge, Feasibility, and Capability. Applicants are encouraged to bring along printed drafts, laptops, and other working materials to receive and give feedback. Research Facilitators and Associate Deans of Research will also be available to answer questions and review files.
